11th place finish at BFL - Prairie Du Chien!!! Had another great tournament down in PDC. An secret area I've been fishing for 3 years came through again with a solid 14 pounds that would've placed me into the top 10, but I sadly had 1 fish expire on me and drop me down to 13lbs 8oz and an 11th place finish. I'm very happy with it and am looking forward to the super tournament back in La Crosse. I'm also 27th overall and in great position for the regional. Results. **************************************************** I had a good time helping out at the WI Federation Nation Jr. State Championships on Lake Nagawicka - Milwaukee, WI. Fishing was tough for the kids, but they walked away with a great experience and some nice prizes from all the Federation Nation Sponsors. Below are a few pictures from the event. Listed below is Laudy, Myself, Bill, and Stacy Twiggs - B.A.S.S. Federation Nation Senior Youth Manager.
Here I am below trading fishing stories with Stacy Twiggs of B.A.S.S. **************************************************** 6-30-07 ****************************************************
2007 Mr. BASS Points Standings
**************************************************** 6-9-07 Started off the BFL year with a limit of 5 fish. It was a tough 5 fish to catch as my trolling motor broke down, thus limiting me to what I could get done. Doesn't concern me too much. I've got some points and have already started thinking about Winneconne in a few weeks. That will be the toughest event of the year. If I can come out of there with some fish, the rest of the year should be excellent. Results **************************************************** 4-1-07 Got down to fish the Brook Open tourney in Dubuque IA. We found some good fish in practice and felt really confident going into Sunday's tournament. That was until we woke up to 45 mph winds and rain. That's always the case up here. It ruined everything we had going, but we were able to adjust and catch a few fish good enough for 8th place. Always good to start the season with a top 10 :)
